The Robotics Society (TRS) Student chapter in HICET

In the last few years robotics activities in India has moved well beyond the traditional areas of industrial applications, atomic energy, etc. and entered newer domains of education, rehabilitation, entertainment, and even into our homes. Indian robotics researchers have similarly grown from a handful to over a hundred engaged in research labs, education, industry, atomic energy, etc. Officially, The Robotics Society (TRS) was registered on June 21, 2017.

The Robotics Society (TRS), India empowers technical institutions in India to start authorized TRS Student Chapters. A group of researchers, industrialists, and students working in different domains of robotics together make TRS. Under The Robotics Society (TRS), HICET has started TRS Student Chapter (TRS-SC/22/027). HICET student chapter is mentoring the interested students via student’s networking and also promoting knowledge sharing activities in the area of robotics. Students are getting exposure through various activities and events. Student chapter is inviting TRS members / office bearers for lectures, workshop and seminars. This gives exposure to student chapter members and increases networking to the global technical community. TRS HICET team is helping students build his/her technical knowledge. Total 46 students and 4 Faculties are registered for TRS student chapter till date.
