1. A candidate is permitted to use geometric tools, non-programmable calculators and approved tables and data books only during the theory and the practical examinations. No other material/electronic gadget, the mobile phone should be brought inside the examination hall.
2. A candidate should neither possess/refer any forbidden material in any form nor should seek/obtain assistance in any form from any person/source during the examinations. He/she should not assist other candidates in any form during the examinations.
3. The candidate should not reveal his/her identity in any form in the answer scripts. The candidate should not indulge in canvassing either directly or indirectly to award more than deserving marks in the examinations.
4. The candidate should maintain discipline and decorum during the examinations.
5. The candidate should be inside the allotted examination hall at least 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
6. The candidate is expected to be present in the Examination hall as per the seating arrangement chart.
7. Candidate indulging in any kind of malpractice will be dealt with as per the Norms enforce from time to time.
8. Once mobile phone (or) any electronic gadget confiscated on the ground of suspected malpractice, it will not be returned on any account.
9. Violation of the above rules in any form during the examinations will attract punishment ranging from levying fine to permanently debarring the candidate from continuing his/her studies as given below:

NOTE:
The matter regarding the malpractice will be placed before the Disciplinary Action Committee for enquiry and the decision of the Committee shall be the final.
Irrelevant writing and appeal by the candidate in the answer script will also be deemed as malpractice.
Cancellation of one or more papers written by the candidate, who was found guilty of committing malpractice, will be indicated as zero (0) against the title of the respective paper in the Statement of Marks.
If a candidate is reported to have committed any malpractice for a second time, the Disciplinary Action Committee will enhance the punishment suitably. Penalty will be levied from each candidate who was found guilty of committing malpractice, and given severe punishment as per the autonomous norms.
