Functions of the Finance Committee:
The Finance Committee shall act as an advisory body to the Governing Body, to consider:
(a) Budget estimates relating to the grant received/receivable from UGC, and income from fees, etc. collected for the activities to undertake the scheme of autonomy; and
(b) Audited accounts for the above.
Term: Term of the Finance Committee shall be three years.
Meetings: The Finance Committee shall meet at least twice a year
The Finance Committee is a Principal Committee of the Board of the College, responsible for all matters relating to the financial affairs of the College encompassing the areas of strategic financial planning, resource management, financial monitoring and policy related issues and to provide timely advice to Board on areas within its remit.
