MCA -Master of Computer Application

The Department of MCA was established in the academic year 2005 - 2006 with the intake of 60. It is an autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.  We strive to develop and maintain our high quality in teaching learning process and making responsive and self disciplined individuals who would work for the upliftment of the nation as a whole.  The department has a diversified mix of students from varied backgrounds such as computer science, Mathematics, Electronics and Non computer science.  This myriad group of students plays a major role in strengthening the overall development of students.

The department has good Computer Laboratories.  All the computers are networked and protected from all known viruses and firewall to have complete data security. To ensure continues usability of computers to the students, all the computers have a power backup with uninterrupted power supply.

We have full fledged placement cell assisting personality development training and communication development classes. We are in regular industry interaction.  All students are made to attend internship training during the course of study which is part of the curriculum.  We provide regular counselling and monitoring of students.

We have a strong Alumni Network and most of our students are placed in tier I, II companies.

Our Distinguished Alumnai visits our campus often to train their juniors.  Juniors are in close contact with the department Alumni which helps them to get exposed to the current trends of the software market.
