B.E. Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

The global demand for highly-qualified instrumentation engineers in the control and automation industries is increasing day-by-day. To compensate the demand, four year full time B.E degree programme in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering is started in the year 2011 with the approval of AICTE. This Program is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.Students in our department has an opportunity to compete at an international level whilst being a notable source of inspiration, guidance and hope that for the coming years, we would enable the Department to build on its significant contribution to   Engineering, Technology and society, as we continue to pursue our academic mission. Students in our department will be one of the innovators and visionaries who recognize the possibilities will become the new leaders of tomorrow.

The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering has equipped with State-of-the-art Laboratories with industry standard instruments in order to provide sound knowledge in the field of Instrumentation and Measurements. This course provides students with sound theoretical knowledge & practical training in the operation and design of electronic instruments and Measurements, digital logic systems, microprocessor and microcontroller system design, PLC’s, Sensor technology and SCADA enabled Process control system etc. Moreover, the department has established a Centre of Excellence in LabVIEW. The department has purchased 50 user license of LabVIEW software and hardware like myDAQ, myRIO, NI-ELVIS from National Instruments, USA.
