AICTE Skilled and Personality Development Centre (SPDC) is likely a training and development centre established by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in India. It may offer training programs aimed at improving the technical skills and personality traits of students pursuing technical education, with the goal of making them more employable and successful in their careers. The centre may also work towards enhancing the overall quality of technical education in India by providing students with opportunities to develop their skills and personality traits beyond traditional academic curriculum.
The main objective of the SPDC in HiCET is to provide opportunity to SC/ST students in the institution to reorient themselves in the light of emerging employment opportunities in engineering. It is to empower the SC and ST students by providing special skill trainings apart from regular study. The confidence of SC and ST students were boosted and provided them with better career opportunities.
So far, 350 SC/ST students were trained and benefitted.
