About Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India)

Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) [ACCE(I)] was found and registered under the society act in 1985 by a group of consulting civil engineers from Bangalore. With its headquarters at Bangalore, ACCE has a pan India presence with 5000+ members associated with 22 centres. ACCE(I) conducts regular activities in all its centers across the nation.

 

Vision

To foster ideals of profession, promote friendship, establish rules for professional and ethical conduct and to develop social awareness and responsibility in the members.

 

Mission

1. To encourage and foster the ideals of the profession. To hold conferences / meetings / seminars for dissemination of knowledge among the Civil

Engineers in particulars and society in general.

2. To promote friendship, establish rules for professional and ethical conduct and to develop social awareness and responsibility among the members.

3. To bring the latest technological advancements in the world to the members and prepare them to carry out futuristic designs with an eye on assurance of quality.

4. To facilitate access to technical papers, books and computer software.

5. To arrange lectures by distinguished Engineers / Professionals from India and abroad and conduct study tour of projects.

6. To act as spokesman for the Consultants to deal with the Government, Corporations and other agencies regarding policy matters.

7. To identity areas in which the Consultants can contribute to the betterment of the country like Rural Housing, Urban Development, Low Cost Housing, Infrastructure development, Economic and Safe Design and Construction Practice, etc.

 

HiCET – ACCE(I) Student Chapter

The ACCE (I) student chapter of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore was established in the year 2021. Through ACCE(I) student chapter, the members come in contact with professionals in an out of classroom setting to improve their outlook towards their profession. ACCE(I) offers in-depth seminars, endowment talks, workshops, placement orientation programmes and technical library facilities for its registered institutions and members.

 

Objectives

--To organize seminars, webinars, workshops, guest lectures and training programmes

--To provide an opportunity for students to interact with industry experts

--To make the students aware of and understand their roles and responsibilities

--To improve the self-esteem of graduate engineers

--To improve the students’ employability quotient
